English courses at geos Brighton

 

at geos Brighton our teaching policy is simple – our teachers are qualified and experienced, we use good quality course books and UP-TO-DATE learning materials, and also monitor our students progress so they can achieve their aims.

All of our teachers are qualified to the British Council minimum standard and our permanent staff hold postgraduate diploma’s in teaching. In addition to this a number of our staff are examiners for the Cambridge, Trinity and IELTS exams. We are also a teacher training centre.

Our teaching focuses on all aspects of English learning. In general English courses the emphasis is on improving communicative skills, while in Exam preparation classes grammar and exam methods are emphasised.

Our classes all use good quality text books and our teachers provide additional material from our extensive resources library. We also have a range of audio visual recourses and a language laboratory to help you improve your listening skills in class but also during your self-study time.

All classes set regular homework tasks and we also help you set personal aims in tutorials with your teachers.
