28 Lessons/ 21 hours of study per week
This is the most popular of our full time courses and is for students who want to study seriously for professional or academic reasons and learn as fast as possible.
During the course you will develop all four skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Both grammar and vocabulary are also important components of the lessons.
The afternoon lessons focus on improving your skills and less on grammar.
Lots of speaking practice is built into the lessons and your pronunciation will be improved with the help of our language laboratory.
Regular revision tests are given. Homework is given every day.
You will have a tutorial at the start of your programme to help assess your aims and set some targets for improving your English.
You will then have other tutorials during the programme to look at your progress and give you advice on how to keep improving your English.
Students who are studying for more than 4 weeks will have regular progress tutorials.
The regular tutorial process also ensures students are moved up to the next level as soon as they are ready.
There is the possibility to take IELTS, KET, PET, FCE, CAE or BEC exams (we can also offer the TOEIC or TOEFL exams by special arrangement) and to transfer to your exam preparation classes if your English level is the correct level and we have spaces in these classes.
